Basic details of Gauhati University B.Ed Common Entrance Test

Gauhati University conducts the B.Ed. Common Entrance Test (GUBEDCET) every year for admission into the two-year Bachelor of Education programme. The exam schedule for GUBEDCET 2026 has been announced. Online applications will be available from Coming to 22 June 2026, and the entrance test will be held on 19 July 2026. Admission to affiliated B.Ed colleges is done through GUBEDCET merit list and seat allocation.

Four marks for each correct answer and one mark deducted for each wrong answer.

Cut-off Marks

80 / 60

80 for unreserved category and 60 for reserved category candidates.

Merit Rule

Positive-negative marks ratio, unanswered questions and age will be considered.
